Under the leadership of Superintendent Dr. Mary Havis and Assistant Superintendent Bea Maldonado, the district established Empowered Teams focused on collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement. With personalized coaching and targeted support, schools have demonstrated significant student progress.

Now, Berwyn South is embracing shorter 6–8 week improvement cycles, confident in their ability to sustain success through strong leadership and teamwork. Their journey showcases how strategic planning and collaboration create lasting, meaningful change.
