Andrea Walker

Andrea Walker leads strategy development, organization effectiveness, and innovation initiatives as the Associate Director for Strategy at the National Education Association, the nation’s largest union and professional association for teachers and education support professionals. She represents NEA on the National Labor Management Partnership, a coalition that promotes shared decision-making and collaborative practices in education decisions. In her almost 20+ years at NEA, Andrea has worked closely with elected and staff leaders across the country to help realize the mission to unite NEA members and the nation to fulfill the promise of public education. Before working at NEA, Andrea taught experiential leadership development and was a career counselor in top tier business schools and law schools. Andrea received her Master’s degree in Counseling and Career Development and holds multiple certifications in organizational leadership.
