Cynthia Sikorski serves as a project consultant, working in the area of Student Effectiveness within the Consortium for Educational Change (CEC). In that capacity, she works with school districts to focus on the areas of Common Core and Next Generation Standards, instructional strategies and tools, assessment for and of learning, and standards-based reporting.
Ms. Sikorski has had a very successful career in public education. She has experience as an elementary school teacher while working in Schaumburg, Community Consolidated School District #54. Her administrative career began in Keeneyville Elementary School District #20 at Springbrook Middle School. Most recently, she retired from Batavia Public Schools District #101 after 19 years spent as a building and central office administrator. These varied experiences have provided Cynthia with a skill set in leadership, data analysis, continuous improvement and collaborative problem solving.
Ms. Sikorski holds a B.S. in Elementary Education from Eastern Illinois University. Her Master’s Degree in Educational Administration is from Northern Illinois University.
