CEC Creating School Cohorts Around New Pedagogies for Deep Learning

News

The Consortium for Educational Change (CEC) and the Teacher Union Reform Network (TURN) is partnering with Michael Fullan, Joanne Quinn and Joanne McEachen on an approach titled New Pedagogies for Deep Learning that aims to articulate and demonstrate how the potential for learning can be realized through new pedagogies in a digital-rich society.

CEC is currently creating clusters of 35 or more schools to participate in the approach and receive face-to-face support from CEC’s high quality staff and consultants.

This partnership involves schools from multiple countries across the globe and aims to address the key challenge of improving teaching and learning practice to lead to more successful futures for all students.

Schools within participating groups/clusters will build clarity of “New Pedagogies for Deep Learning” and build capacity to shift practices. The schools will act as the driving force and share their learning on ‘what works’ both nationally and internationally.
